This variety is significantly different from the typical English rose, with a more natural character and bushier growth habit. Its flowers are a striking shade of crimson, developing singly in a shallow form, then opening into looser rosettes. The colour intensity of the petals decreases rapidly as the flowers age. Its fragrance is reminiscent of old roses, enriched with strong notes of lemon peel.
The bush is vigorous and quite informal in appearance, reaching a height of 120-140 cm at maturity. It blooms repeatedly and abundantly throughout the season, providing constant beauty and fragrance.
